Our 2009 auction was held at Picture Butte auction market on December 19th and we managed to raise almost $15,000.00 again Thank-you to the following 2009 supporters and donators:

Christmas Calf for Kids Print E-mail

Last year, at the final auction of the year, two calves were sold, to help Michelle Libregts take care of her daughter after her husband, Alex, passed away on November 25th, 2005. 

I have made a commitment to do this every year, until their daughter has finished school or she no longer needs financial support.  I have been discussing my commitment with Michelle, and together we have decided that due to the recent tragedies in our community, we would like the money raised through this year’s calf to be split to include all the children who have lost their fathers this past year.

We would really like to thank everyone that helped us with this worthy cause through out the years.

To our sponsors your generosity made a huge difference and allowed us to be where we are today. Every donation has meant so much to us. From a donation of a single loonie and a handshake, to a little girl who wanted so much to help and donated two bunnies to the auction. Every little bit helps and means so much.

To all those who have helped in organizing our events and donated so much of your time and efforts, we would also like to acknowledge your great assistance.

A special thank you goes out to my mom Sylvia and my daughter Mellissa who have put so much time and effort in helping me and this wonderful cause for the last 5 years.
